MOHSS is open to all ages and levels of riding!

YES! We invite friends, family, and anyone else to attend the shows and cheer on our riders. Everyone is also welcome to participate, on foot or horseback, in the “Pastry Promenade” for a chance to win a yummy treat! Pastry Promenade entries are $1 and all proceeds go to the show’s charity (registration not required).

Find out list of charities for each show on our show schedule page.

In equitation classes, the judge is looking at the rider’s seat, hands, guidance, and control of their horse/pony. In pleasure classes, the judge is looking to see if your horse/phone would be a “pleasure” to ride, by looking at the horse/pony’s manners, and gate execution.  Additional information on divisions and classes can be found in our rule book here.

MOHSS will make every effort to have a food truck at each event. Follow our Facebook page for updates on food truck status or check out our show day info page.
