A Word About MOHSS
The Maryland Open Horse Show Series presents a series of schooling shows designed to help both horses and riders. We offer a fun and rewarding experience for all involved. We aim to please and hope that everyone leaves with a very happy experience at the end of the day. This series offers classes for all levels of riding and ages.
The Maryland Open Horse Show Series will act as a fundraiser for various charities that will be chosen by the MOHSS Junior Board members. Each show will raise money for a different charity. There will be a Benefit Hack and Pastry Promenade that is held at every show in which the proceeds go directly to the chosen charity. These classes will be open to everyone. A portion of the proceeds made from the overall show will also be donated. Junior Board Members may hold other activities at the show that relate to the charity such as bake sales, etc. Other events or group activities related to the show charity will be publicized for members of the series to participate in as a group outside of the show series. MOHSS hopes to offer a safe and fun show series while also raising money for a good cause.
